Jeong Dong-won "I wish I could sleep a lot and grow up to 180cm"

Singer Jeong Dong-won expressed his wish to grow up to 180cm.

On the 10th, singer Jeong Dong-won appeared on SBS' 'Nightline' as an invited guest.

On this day's broadcast, Jeong Dong-won expressed his feelings about the many activities he had done last year. He said, "Last year, I was in the third year of middle school and also went to school hard as a middle school senior. I had a really busy year preparing a lot of albums and preparing to show a lot of concerts."

Jeong Dong-won released his second mini album ‘Inside’ on December 1st last year. The title song is ‘Boat Play’. Regarding this, Jeong Dong-won explained, "For 'Boat Play', we sampled the folk song 'Boat Play' that we know, and tried to make it fun by combining various genres of dance, trot, and folk songs. So, it was reborn as a dance song."

What is Jeong Dong-won’s reaction to ‘boating’? He laughed, saying, “I danced to my first dance song, and I tried singing and vocalizing for the first time. The fans liked it a lot.”

Jeong Dong-won is currently standing out as an all-round entertainer. He said, "There were many things I was trying for the first time. Acting is so hard and difficult that I respect the actors and seniors. But after trying it once, it was a fun experience. I also tried MCing, but I think I need to improve my pronunciation a lot. I really want to try again. “I miss you too,” he said.

Jeong Dong-won began his singing career at a young age. Are there any difficulties? He said, "I came after 'Mr. Trot' when I was busy going through a period of transformation that everyone goes through as they grow up. At that time, I worked very hard. I changed my vocalization from the original vocalization, and I changed my singing style one by one while learning it according to the standard. “Now I can sing really comfortably. That’s why I’m having fun working.”

He also said, "These days, I've become very greedy about writing lyrics and composing music. I've also developed an interest, so I try to make music as a joke with the musicians around me. My goal is to study and create my own songs." He said, “If you wait a little longer, I think I will be able to (write lyrics, compose, and produce) soon.”

Jeong Dong-won is scheduled to hold a national tour concert called ‘Music Society’. He said, “I wrote a scholar to learn from. I wanted to show my fans the process of learning music one by one through a concert. I wrote a scholar to learn and called it ‘Music Society.’ I am learning many different genres of music, and the process of learning is like this. “I’m working hard to show them,” he said.

Lastly, Dong-won Jeong mentioned his goals for the new year and what he wants to try. He said, "I have two goals for the new year as a singer. My goal is to perform in a variety of genres and to show that I am good enough to make fans really like it. As a human Jeong Dong-won, I hope to sleep a lot this year and grow a little taller. My goal is to grow to 180cm. “It would be nice,” I hoped.
