‘Shurup’ Kim Ga-eun renews contract with Friends in TPC
Kim Ga-eun, who has shown stable acting in dramas such as 'Awl', 'Because This is My First Life', 'The Wind Blows', 'The Light in My Eyes', and 'I Hear Your Voice', established her first relationship with Plain TPC in 2020. Afterwards, she took on the role of Seo Na-ri, a 'tough daughter' in MBC's 'Unless You Go Crazy', and drew attention by perfectly portraying a career woman with no shortcomings.
Kim Ga-eun played the role of Tae So-yong in the tvN drama 'Shroop', which created a lot of buzz last year, and received great love for her new acting that broke the mold of existing historical dramas. Kim Ga-eun maximized the character's loveliness by portraying Tae So-yong in a pure and clear manner.
Like the line from Joongjeon, played by Kim Hye-soo, in the play, “It’s no fun if you think there is no Tae So-yong in the palace,” Kim Ga-eun brought out Shrupp’s vitality. In particular, Kim Ga-eun showed her ability to bring out the character's three-dimensionality by sequentially capturing Tae So-yong's ambition, despair, and growth as the story unfolds.
Kim Ga-eun is currently filming JTBC's new drama 'King the Land'. 'King the Land' is the story of Jun-ho Lee (played by Gu-won), a man who despises laughter, and Yoon-ah Lim (played by Sarang Cheon), a smile queen who must smile, creating a day when they can truly smile brightly at King the Land, a VVIP business lounge that is a hotelier's dream. In the drama, Kim Ga-eun plays Kang Da-eul, a superwoman with a level of passion, and is expected to work with Lim Yoon-ah.
