Actor Bae Seong-woo (50), who caused controversy for drunk driving, is filming the series 'Lighting Store'.

'Lighting Store' is an 8-part series based on the webtoon of the same name by Kang Full, who was greatly loved for 'Moving'. It is about the story of the living and the dead intersecting as the world and the underworld are connected through a store that sells lights. It's a work of art. Mr. Romance took over production following ‘Moving’.

The webtoon 'Lighting Store' is a mystery horror story that was serialized in Daum Cartoon World, the predecessor of Kakao Webtoon, from August to December 2011, and is branching out in various ways, including producing a series, exporting it to China, and making it into a movie. A movie based on this work is scheduled to be released in China on the 15th of next month under the title 'Lighting Store'.

'Lighting Store' is actor Kim Hee-won's first directorial role, and actors Ju Ji-hoon and Seolhyun have confirmed their appearances. Release through Disney+ is likely, and discussions are ongoing.

Meanwhile, Bae Seong-woo was caught in a drunk driving raid after drinking with an acquaintance in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in November 2020. At the time, Bae Seong-woo's blood alcohol level was over 0.08%, which was at the level of license revocation.
