Yang Se-hyeong published a poetry collection, ‘Roads of the Stars’. Yang Se-hyeong, who said that publishing a poetry collection was one of her goals to become a wonderful 40-year-old, said, "Ever since I was young, when I thought of something beautiful or sad, I couldn't resolve it within myself. Now, I write out the words that come to mind in my head, one by one. When I drew it out and put it together like this, it was a short piece of writing, which now became a poem. When I looked at it, I thought, ‘Ah, this is what I’m thinking right now.’ Anyway, it eventually became a game, and I’ve been writing it quite often since then, but I’ve never shown it to anyone. “There is no such thing,” he said.

When asked if viewers would have been surprised, Yang Se-hyung said, "Even my mother was surprised. She said she didn't know this side existed. She asked me how I could have thought like this and why I didn't tell her about this. My younger brother (Yang Se-chan) also wrote this. “He said he didn’t know how to write well.” He then joked, "My younger brother has a lower level of knowledge than me. So, the writing has no choice but to look good. There are probably a lot of poems that he doesn't understand." He also joked, "He said he wouldn't be able to understand deep emotions. There were poems he didn't understand, but he said most of the poems were nice to look at," and added, "You should read that friend's book."

The poetry collection contains a total of 88 poems. Yang Se-hyeong chose the poem ‘Road of the Stars’, which became the title of the book, as his most central work. There is also a poem related to father. Regarding this, Yang Se-hyung said, "When I wrote poems about my father, I often wrote them with tears in my eyes. Since my parents were both working, there was virtually no time to make memories. Now that my younger brother and I have earned some money and can make a living, it's time to make memories, but it's time to go back." "Because it's poetry, it hurts even more. Even though you won't actually see this, I wrote it with the hope that you will understand my feelings," he confessed. Yang Se-hyung announced that he would donate all of the royalties from his poetry collection.

Yang Se-hyung chose 'obtaining a barista certification' as another thing he would like to do as part of his 'Becoming Forty Project'. He said, “I want to try making delicious decaffeinated coffee.”

When asked if there was a comedian worth mentioning, Yang Se-hyung chose his younger brother Yang Se-chan. He said, "I'm not talking about it because he's family, but I've always felt that comedian Yang Se-chan is a great comedian. He's someone who can make it fun even if you give him the script that Kang Ji-young (anchor) is holding. He's an excellent comedian, I learn a lot from him."

When asked what he thought a comedian was, Yang Se-hyung answered, "Painkiller." He said, "When my father was diagnosed as terminally ill and underwent radiation and chemotherapy, he was in a lot of pain. At that time, whenever I told him a ridiculous joke in front of him, he would laugh. Even during that difficult time, he would laugh." He continued, "So, my dream is to become a comedian whose humor can be a painkiller for everyone. I don't want to be a great person either. I just want to be remembered as a funny person."
