Tae Jin-ah reveals daily life with wife suffering from dementia for the first time
'Joseon's Lover' will feature the story of his wife Lee Ok-hyeong and Tae Jin-ah in a Lunar New Year special broadcast on February 12. Lee Ok-hyeong, who is better known by her nickname 'Ok-gyeong', which is also the title of Tae Jin-ah's representative song, is the protagonist who caused a lot of regret after it was revealed that she is currently suffering from severe dementia.
In the Lunar New Year special 'Joseon's Lover', the daily lives of Tae Jin-ah and Lee Ok-hyung are revealed for the first time since Lee Ok-hyung's illness was revealed. Tae Jin-ah's tearful efforts for his wife who is losing her memory, and his sincere actions that cannot be done without 'true love', are expected to make even the studio's MCs Kim Kook-jin, Kang Su-ji, Kim Ji-min, Hwang Bo-ra, and Choi Seong-guk hold their breath.
In the Lunar New Year special trailer, Tae Jin-ah is shown holding his wife's hand tightly. He described his wife Lee Ok-hyeong as “99% of my life,” and announced his only wish for his wife, who was suddenly diagnosed with dementia five years ago, saying, “I hope she will slowly forget me,” heralding a tearful ‘Samogok.’
