Ku Hye-sun Reveals Stark Contrast in Earnings from Independent Films and Music Royalties

On the KBS2 show 'Park Won-sook's Living Together' aired on the 17th, Ku Hye-sun revealed the stark contrast in her earnings.
Ku Hye-sun, who is active in various fields such as writing, painting, film directing, and composing, holds the intellectual property rights to five independent films. However, she lamented the limited number of independent film theaters, stating, "It's a sad story. The production company settles accounts quarterly, and the settlement amount for three months was 1,030 won. That means I earned 300 won a month," she candidly confessed.

Ku Hye-sun also confessed to being scammed by acquaintances. She said, "I lent a lot of money to friends who were in difficult situations. I gave money hoping to resolve their issues, but later found out it was a lie, which was painful to learn, and it happened multiple times," revealing that the maximum amount she couldn't recover from one person was 10 million won.
Additionally, Ku Hye-sun disclosed that her paintings were stolen. She said, "I lent out 20 pieces, but only 18 were returned. Later, I found the remaining paintings up for auction. After experiencing such incidents, I stopped actively selling my paintings, fearing they might be sold off," she explained.
