Jang Keun-suk Reveals Battle with Thyroid Cancer on 'My Ugly Duckling'

Actor Jang Keun-suk has revealed his battle with thyroid cancer.

On the upcoming episode of SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' airing on the 27th, Jang Keun-suk candidly shared his recent struggle with thyroid cancer. He expressed his initial feelings, saying, “When I was first diagnosed, I wondered, 'Why am I being given this trial?' and felt resentment.” Jang Keun-suk also mentioned that the experience led him to adopt healthier habits, and he successfully achieved a significant personal goal.

Previously, on 'My Ugly Duckling,' Jang Keun-suk expressed his desire to become a father before turning 40. However, this time, he humorously explained why he now feels he should marry after 40, leaving everyone in stitches. The panelists agreed with his reasoning, saying, “Yes, that's truly the right partner.”

Jang Keun-suk also showcased his confidence in flirting, charming the panelists, although MCs Shin Dong-yup and Seo Jang-hoon playfully jeered at him.

Additionally, Jang Keun-suk shared his grand vision for his wedding, revealing that he has even chosen a location, surprising everyone with his three-part plan. MC Seo Jang-hoon jokingly suggested, “If that's the case, just get married at Gocheok Sky Dome,” which made Jang Keun-suk burst into laughter.
