Joo Won Reveals Family Favorite Restaurant and Shares Military Stories with G-Dragon

Joo Won is set to unveil his family's favorite restaurant of a decade. The actor will also share stories from his military service, including his connection with G-Dragon.

On the upcoming episode of ENA's variety show 'I Miss You, Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young,' airing on the 27th at 9:20 PM, Joo Won, known for his versatile acting skills, will appear as a guest to discuss his unique acting philosophy and beliefs.

Coming from a family with a rich culinary background, Joo Won introduces his go-to restaurant, which he recommends to international fans. The restaurant offers a lavish spread with 21 different side dishes, leaving hosts Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young in awe. Choi Hwa-jung praised it as "the best place I've been to so far."

Joo Won and Choi Hwa-jung, who bonded over the drama 'Stealer,' share a close friendship. Joo Won humorously mentions that his mother is a subscriber to Choi Hwa-jung's YouTube channel, saying, "She orders 'must-have items' after watching it." Touched by this, Choi Hwa-jung prepares a surprise gift for his mother on the spot.

As a former drill instructor in the White Skull Division, Joo Won heats up the atmosphere by sharing anecdotes from G-Dragon's training days. He describes G-Dragon as "hip-hop even when walking," but later "transformed into a disciplined soldier." Joo Won also shares stories about getting to know the members of Big Bang.

Joo Won also reveals behind-the-scenes stories from the movie 'Firefighter,' inspired by the Hongje-dong fire disaster. Reflecting on his past drama 'Yong Pal,' Joo Won shares a story of nearly losing his composure due to a grueling schedule. Despite the challenges, he won an acting award for 'Yong Pal' and famously mentioned his grandmother as his "monitoring agent" in his acceptance speech. Joo Won expresses his desire to create works his grandmother would have loved, maintaining that sentiment even after her passing.
