Choi Min-young Shines in 'Weak Hero Class 2' with Compelling Character Portrayal

Actor Choi Min-young captivates audiences with his realistic character portrayal in 'Weak Hero Class 2'.

Choi Min-young, who previously charmed global fans as Dae in the spin-off series 'XO, Kitty' from 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before', continues to impress with his new role in 'Weak Hero Class 2'.

The Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class 2' follows the story of Yeon Si-eun, a model student who transfers to Eunjang High School carrying the trauma of failing to protect a friend from violence. Determined not to lose another friend, he faces even greater violence, leading to a harrowing survival tale and a brilliant coming-of-age story. The first installment, 'Weak Hero Class 1', gained immense popularity, ranking 2nd in the global TOP 10 non-English series on Netflix. Following its release, Class 2 has also received critical acclaim and sparked widespread interest.

In 'Weak Hero Class 2', Choi Min-young plays Seo Jun-tae, a target of the bullies at Eunjang High School where Yeon Si-eun, played by Park Ji-hoon, transfers. Despite being intimidated in school, Seo Jun-tae decides to change after meeting Yeon Si-eun, revealing a surprising twist to his character. At a recent press conference, executive producer Han Jun-hee described Seo Jun-tae as a "true weak hero," highlighting the growing interest in Choi Min-young's performance.
